Ticket Office: The Pan American Center Ticket Office is a fully functional ticket management office that provides a complete range of ticketing services. Utilizing the Ticketmaster ticket system, services include computerized event set up, variable ticket printing options, event monitoring and accounting controls. The Pan American Center Ticket Office is the main ticketing entity for New Mexico State University providing ticketing services for NMSU Athletics, NMSU Special Events, NMSU Aggie Athletic Fund and selected NMSU Performing Arts events. Guest Services: The Pan American Center is a place where the safety and comfort of our guests and our staff is our first priority. The Guest Services Staff at the Pan American Center and Aggie Memorial Stadium strive to achieve the finest customer service. Our goal is to make sure every guest leaves satisfied with a smile on their face. The Guest Services Staff include ticket takers, ushers, peer security, and lot attendants. Ticket takers and ushers check tickets to ensure proper entrance into the building and its sections. Peer security check credentials and maintain a secure area. Lot attendants check passes to park in our secure lots surrounding the Pan American Center and Aggie Memorial Stadium. All of our jobs have their individual duties; however, the primary job of Guest Services is to provide guests with customer service in order to allow them to enjoy their event while keeping them safe. Booking & Marketing: Booking & Marketing is the Department that works to bring special events to the Pan American Center, either by dealing with outside promoters to schedule events here or by purchasing events directly. During the process of booking an event, the Department works with agents and promoters to develop a pricing structure for the show, to put together a media plan to market the show, and to develop estimated costs to stage the show in the Pan American Center. Once events are booked, the Department issues press releases, develops and implements media and marketing plans, and acts as the liaison between band or event publicists and area media. Operations: The Operations Department of Special Events manages the operations and scheduling of “Back of House” for events held at the Pan American Center, Aggie Memorial Stadium, and other venues throughout the campus of NMSU. Back of House is referred to as Production, House Crew, Custodians, and Maintenance. Production is responsible for the technical support for all events, i.e. sound & lights. House Crew is responsible for the physical support for all events, i.e. setting stage, dressing room, meeting areas, and basketball set-up. Custodians are responsible for the daily and event cleanliness of the building. Maintenance is responsible for the physical upkeep of the Pan American Center, i.e. plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. With quality customer service as our goal, we strive to provide our guests professional service. We are responsible for ensuring that all of our guests, whether they may be performers, athletes, or patrons, have a safe and enjoyable event experience.
